We source all of our beeswax from local beekeepers in Nevada County, ensuring that our products are sustainably harvested and support local businesses.

At the end of each season in early fall, our wax is carefully harvested from bee boxes. We make sure the bees have enough food and combs to ensure their health and productivity for the following year.

The harvested wax and honey are separated in large drums and poured into blocks for further rendering and cleaning. At this point, the wax still contains dirt and debris from the bee boxes.

We melt the wax blocks down and filter the warm wax through a fine mesh to remove any dirt, debris, and other impurities, ensuring a clean, pure product.

After cleaning, the freshly purified wax is stored on our shelving racks in a cool, controlled location, preserving its natural honey scent and beneficial properties.

When we're ready to make a new batch of candles, we melt down the required amount of wax in a smaller drum, bringing it to the precise temperature needed for that type of candle. We then hand dip or hand pour each candle to create the perfect inventory.

We use 100% pure cotton, lead-free wicks for all our candles. Our production process is completely free of chemicals, fillers, or bi-products, ensuring an eco-friendly, sustainable product with no waste sent to a landfill.
